I'm not laughing *at* you, I'm laughing *with* you.

I think RPITI should get the "made the most progress in musical appreciation" award.

I received it as a gift in 1992 for my birthday (I was 9). My parents bought me a portable compact disc player and said I could get a CD to go with it. I didn't even listen to music at the time, so I asked my best friend what album I should get. He said anything by Michael Jackson. Black Or White was his latest album at the time, so that's what I asked for.

A few years ago I was up talking to my older brother while he was installing some crap on my computer and I stumbled upon the old disc. I thoroughly destroyed it

I shudder to think about what I would've asked for when I was 9...The Partridge Family? Yeesh. Thank goodness my parents were such Pigs that they didn't let me get music until I was older. (although being subjected to *their* taste in it was no picnic either).

GREAT album...Hammer To Fall is the reason I begged my grandparents for an electric guitar.

No shame in Queen...they were a great band who wrote great music.
Yeah Queen are ok I guess.. I only did that face cause I thought nobody else would like them!
My favourite Queen song is a really obscure Roger Taylor song from the early 70's (can't remember which album) called "I'm in Love with my Car" - I LOVE that tune :)

B-side of 'Bohemian Rhapsody', I believe. He got a lot of money through that from royalties.

I think my first one was "Hitti Buumi", kind of compilation of various artist. There was evergreens like "Love Me For The Reason" "Love Religion" ... It was good then but nowadays I try not to listen that kind of music.

Farewell Andromeda, by John Denver, as a gift when I was about 7 or 8....('73 or '74); Of my own choosing, a couple of years later, Meddle.
