In the spirit of Real Pink's recent threads...

A couple things

1. I skipped a bunch of songs that I figured would get no votes.
2. I included the song A Saucerful Of Secrets despite the fact that Syd was an official member at the time, but didn't contribute. The man had stopped showing up at their recording sessions, I think he had stopped being a member by then.
3. When making the poll, I took one song from each album, then just put them at random.

"Oh bliss, bliss and heaven. Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeosity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest spun heaven metal, or like silvery wine flowing in a space ship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied I knew such lovely pictures."

"Careful wih that Axe, Eugene" has that effect on me.

Now that is the way to enjoy Echoes. I voted for Careful With That Axe, Eugene.

Echoes!!!!!

It Has to be Echoes!!!.......it's musically brilliant and lyrically poetic.
the first time i heard the line "Strangers passing in the street
By chance two separate glances meet
And I am you and what I see is me" i had totally visualized such a scenario.....i think a lot of Floyd songs can do that to you.....take you to another level and even inspire you creatively....Echoes certainly has this effect on me

Yup, I gotta go with Echoes as well. Time is a very close second.

Wasn't AHM written mostly by Geesin or Ezrin or one of those guys? I'll hafta check out one of my PF books when I get home.

Gotta go with Echoes because it is just absolutely perfect. From start to finish it is seamless. A brilliant piece of music. I also really like Interstellar Overdrive and Careful With That Axe, Eugene and of course, I am one of those that loves AHM but have to go with Echoes in the end.

10-4 isn't exactly close. 4 is less than half of 10 even, Tommy. LOL.

If I could enter another vote for "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" I would! Haha. Although I do love every song listed, very very passionately.

Not Echoes !!! I'm sick of listening to it. Nearly every ROIO between 71 and 87 has a version of echoes on it so it can get a bit tedious listening to it again and again. I went for Atom heart mother.

i meant that in my view Time is second and Echoes is first, not the poll, sorry for the confusion
