Yeah, once you're responsible for yourself reality sets in and you realize that things like eating and shelter are more important than a few fun hours on one night. Not that I ever had that kind of money when I was young either...

I have an allowance of $250 a month from my parents, and that covers every meal that is not eaten at home, gas, clothes, and all entertainment. most of my friends get about the same amount, but i never spend any money, except ill occasionally buy a CD. actually, as far as entertainment goes, i basically only spend my money when i go out to eat with friends and stuff. and of course gas is about 15 dollars a week

sorry keith, i wont send you one cent, im sure you get enough from the pop up adds that come on every time i go to the site!!!!

David, I like the way you explain one slang term with another. Rock `n` Roll!! Have never heard the term before. You sure it is not some strange Scottish thing?

Sorry  , "brassic" meaning having no money, "Northampton" being the town I live in and "yonks" meaning a long time. :-({|=

I merely meant I was surprised Keith hadn't heard of the term brassic, as we've had the term here for a good few years now. I thought it was old news now.. :)
