10 leachers 5 seeders much better! I am seeding blacknight and experimental energy... and live 8 and.... well you get the idea! I think more people should be leaving then torrents open for longer when they have finished downloading and then occasionally seeding again in the future some time to make the community work.

Since I am really new to this whole torrent thing, what does it mean, % uploaded? Cause one time I stopped seeding disc 3 at just over 14,000% uploaded. Then another time, at 700% and just now, I am at 165% in just half an hour. What do the %'s mean?

Sorry if that's a really stupid Q.

I use Bit Torando for its advanced seeding options (I can choose to only seed pieces of the torrent that nobody else has to make the distribution more efficient)... anyway.... I should imagine the percentages are like the upload ratio in bit torrando... If you have downloaded 100MB and have uploaded 100MB then your ratio will be 100/100 = 1. If you download 100MB and upload 200MB then your ratio will be 200/100 = 2. So a ratio above unity (1) is desired to make this thing work!!

As many people will have ADSL with a fast download rate than upload rate, you could technically download 100MB and only have seeded 20MB or so so great people like yourself are needed to keep on seeding to some rather high ratios until the torrent just dies.... like most of the HYGIY? series I torrented a while back. A shame... if only people didnt steal from others!!
