It's a great hobby if you're into it!! :D

I believe they're massive in America?

My son has some. ;) Is this a novelty item outside of the U.S. or something?

They are a very fun passtime. Quite amusing on young children.

I'm not on about yer 60 quid jobby from Argos here, my Nitro buggy can clock speeds of up to 80 mph and is by no means for the kids!!

I let my 6 yr old son have a quick go on mine (with my supervision of course!) and in the space of about 10 seconds he'd thrashed it down the road, skidded into a kerb and demolished the front end entirely!!

Costs a packet in spares, but the re-buildings half of the fun!! :D :D

A bloke I work with has a model Helecopter he tries to fly. He crashes it every time and it costs a fortune to repair. He lost the first on he had, it cost around £500. He was flying it and he lost site and control of it and he never found it.

A couple of my mates are into radio controlled planes, same story as the helicopter really. Always seem to come back with their planes in big black bags!! At least on the road cars are always recoverable. :D

I REALLY REALLY want a remote control Impreza WRX rally car. I saw a great one online and I need to save up some cash for it.

I have a remote control hovercraft, but it is a kids toy. Actually it is my 7 YO son's, but you know I play with it all the time, don't ya.

Also, there is a little lake near here and there's some guy who has an model offshore racing boat with a weedwacker engine in it...two things - 1. man is that thing loud. 2. man is that fast. Looks like fun.

Do they offer remote control Sherman tanks? I could probably use one of those!
