Regardless of your expectations be surprised at how voilent it gets. The rack section towards the end will have to go down in history as one of cinema's most horrific images
I watched The Big Lebowski. A film that can easily persuade everyone that there is also good american cinema and not only Hollywood rubish.
Great soundtrack and actors. (Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Turturro, Ben Gazzara, David Thewlis, David Huddleston)
I saw The Wizard of Oz on tv the other evening. You know for it's age it sure is a great movie. I have seen it many times and could watch it many times again.
Mitchell sat on my knee and watched it with me. I found myself singing along with the songs, (Mitchell kept telling me to shush).
For the first time in some weeks I was happy for a while.
(I have never sync'd this movie with you know what and never intend to. They are both great products that would spoil each other.)

That's a powerful film... The last few minutes especially so ("I can't come back--I don't know how it works... Goodbye folks!")...
Judy Garland's performance of "Over the Rainbow" is something timeless.
