What the hell happens in that film? It doesn't seem to be about anything, just totally random stuff though i gotta admit i loved every minute of it, and that time travel scene... Wow
One of my all time fav films. I have watched it many many times and I think the whole point is that those aliens who sent us monolit gave us a chance to evolve from ape to human. And when the time was ready, they sent us a message. It was meant that way that only one man would survive on that trip so he could become somekind of astral child, a connection between Us and Them.
And most of the hippies went to see 2001 only because that travelling-sequence. I wonder why...

Just finished watching the first two Lord of the Rings DVDs. I can't wait for Return of the King in December.

CNN's Crossfire (I have thought about becoming a political strategist. I love James Carville and Paul Begala)

Been watching the last series of I'm Alan Partridge, and bloody good it is too, with some classic moments. Among my favourites are Alan attempting to give a speech after piercing his foot on a spike, threatening someone with a hot apple pie, and Alan constantly telling one person who critisizes his book to F*** Off.
