Roger clearly stated they don't yet have a distributor and that it's out of his hands. It's very unlikely this will make a Christmas release now because lead times, schedules and manufacturing will not be possible in time. It could happen, but I very much doubt it.

Found this video on Youtube, and it has some incredible clips of the original Wall shows, especially from 'Mother'.
It's not long, but what's there is astounding!

HELL YES.
I thought the only thing worth seeing in theaters this year would be Star Wars VII, but NOPE.
My God Rog, you're on a roll! First, the Amused To Death 5.1 mix, now this!

Oh Good.
Hopefully they can get all the cinema stuff out the way during September and October and then release the DVD version in time for Christmas!
For some reason I don't feel the urge to go to a cinema and watch this although perhaps I will change my mind as the time approaches.

I'd have to find out just which cinemas have got the rights to show the film. Then the headache of getting tickets if one is local to me!
I know, at least with a DVD you can pause it and go for pissbreaks, but as I missed out on the recent shows, watching it on a screen at the deafening volume seems the next best thing!

There appear to be a huge number on the listing, however, I am unable to book tickets for any of my three 'local' ones ... maybe I'll have to pop into the venue later ?Jimi Dean Barrett wrote:I'd have to find out just which cinemas have got the rights to show the film. I booked a couple of tickets for this at our local cinema. I remember attending a similar event for David's last album.
Should be good fun, looking forward to it and as I never got to go to the live shows I hope they play it loud !!

Yesterday I managed to find two cinemas nearby, but today the link is fucked and I can't book!
Heh, another "Live Floyd-related Event" I seemed destined to miss out on!

Get in! Tickets booked!
VIP tickets with a friend to celebrate how long (1990) we'd been into Pink Floyd.
Amazed it hasn't sold out in the area my friend and I assumed would have gone in minutes.
The only worry is the Media might make it look like it's backfired on Roger.
But what could be better than watching a film on the big screen of The Wall's sell out stadiums, in a half full darkened building?
