I wouldn't even call it second-rate Pink Floyd, even though it was recorded a full year after Piper. Mike Ratledge could play circles around Rick Wright. Robert Wyatt was well advanced beyond Mason as a drummer.

And every member of Yes was a virtuoso, but I'd say 95% of their output is crap.
