Pink Floyd guitarist and singer David Gilmour has collaborated on two songs with folk-rock singer Donovan, on an album called Gaelia, which is due to be released on 15th December, just in time for Christmas.
David has collaborated with a great number of people over the years in production and session musician roles. He has two tracks on the new album with one called Rock Me, and the other being Lover O’ Lover. Both sound amazing.

nice sound, pretty banal lyrics though.
you couldnt mistake that solo from dave though. lifts the soul.
some very good musicians listed on that album, it might be on my acquisition list.

I like both the tracks. The lyrics are of a particular style, and with PF we're used to something more weighty. But, I like both songs and DG's contributions are great.
Given the discussions that were had when DG sold a whole lot of guitars, it's good to see that he's still playing. And playing well.
