As highlighted on Roger Waters’ official YouTube page, a selection of songs from the live broadcast of Radio Waves, recorded at Colisée De Québec, Canada, on 7th November 1987, has made its way officially onto Spotify. it is calle Roger Waters: KAOS FM 1987: Live Radio Broadcast.
There are 8 songs in total giving 49 minutes of the live performance which has been a favourite amongst bootleggers over the years.
A number of people have pointed out the 4 string bass becomes a 6 string guitar in this awful cover art!
I’ve just checked my release radar on Spotify and although the image is of Roger Waters, indicating he has new material, the album in question is nowhere to be found! Such a shame
Is it possible that some cheeky bugger managed to upload a bootleg to his Spotify without his consent? This happened to Slowdive a while back actually - an unreleased track of theirs was on Spotify for about 24 hours before Rachel Goswell said that neither the band nor the label had done this and that someone had managed to get the song uploaded on their account. The song was pulled very quickly after that.
