Fantastic that they are continuing. I also noticed that this one is not marketed as another leg of the Echoes tour, but simply as a 2024 tour.

Marvelous. I sincerely hope they will take this further afield again.
As for the name of the tour, great, but they could've saved that name for later and used "Chapter 24" this year

I'm glad to see he's continuing with this- hopefully some good video will surface from the gigs.

Re: Nick Mason 2024 Tour
I'll be at the Nottingham gig tonight. Unfortunately I won't be taking video as I want to go and enjoy the concert.
On Saturday, I'll be at a Dark Side of the Wall gig in Leicester. As everyone will guess from the name, it's a PF tribute. I was guessing that they would focus on the mid-late 70s. But, their website has a live gig and there's quite a lot from the DG era too.

May I add a W0Ot to your current moment in the live proceedings on behalf of those who weren't here!

Re: Nick Mason 2024 Tour
Thank you. Even though I have the NM's SoS Blu-Ray, I enjoyed the concert more than I expected. And I expected to enjoy it.
I've decided that I don't want to give away too much of what happened. As there were several things that happened including an unexpected song (and how it was delivered), and the jokes made during the concert that may be spoilers. I don't know how much of these were from previous concerts and perhaps everybody else knows them already. But, I'd prefer to be safe rather than risk reduce the potential enjoyment of others. I'm probably over-thinking things.
A few things I'll say is that I think the lead vocals have come on since the Blu-Ray, and some of the songs come out heavier sounding (in a good way) than the originals. They aren't playing the songs note for note but are creating a live performance with added value. I felt it was a really good concert, and I really want to see them again.

Great review Keith. The jokes and humour were almost the same as in Nottingham. Hence: most definitely spoilers.

Re: Nick Mason 2024 Tour
Saw them earlier in the week in bristol and credit where credits is due Garry Kemp is a pretty good guitarist. Guy got upset by someone down the front and kept pointing at him - in the end he just mouthed F**k off to him and went back to the corner of his stage. In general it was a good show and a lot more relaxed than the Waters/Gilmour shows and he as certainly hit on a winning formula as the post Dark Side tracks have been played to death. The only disappointment was there were no Fictitious Sports tracks

Re: Nick Mason 2024 Tour
Perhaps Guy getting grumpy would explain why Nick had to tell people to stop putting the little white lights on their phones on, the flash, because it was unsettling poor Guy. Unless that is one of the gags they usually use. I might have to start going to multiple gigs on the tour to compare!
