I like the Stones, but I think they are a bit over-rated. They're definitely not nearly as good as PF, LZ, or The Beatles.

My favorite tunes by them:

Angie
Beast Of Burden
Gimme Shelter
Paint It Black
Start Me Up
Sympathy For The Devil
Under My Thumb
You Can't Always Get What You Want
NewEarthMud

I could go on and on about the Stones... they are so good.

Some of my favorite songs:

Dead Flowers
Sister Morphine
Heart of Stone
Wild Horses
Angie
Mothers Little Helper
As Tears Go By
You Can't Always Get What You Want
Waiting on a Friend
It's Only Rock N Roll But I Like It

and there are many others obviously.. Dead Flowers is incredible..

Dead Flowers, Wild Horses, perfect examples of the effect Gram Parsons had on the band.

I love the Stones. They are up there in my top 10 bands of the 60's and 70's--now they are a bunch of old gits but they can still sure play!

I used to LOVE the Stones. All those old songs that everyone else has mentioned are classics. My fave era was from the 1966-68 period. I even liked Her Satanic Majesty's Request. A few of my favorite songs were Paint it Black and Under My Thumb. I've always thought that if I was in a band I'd want to cover the latter one but change the lyrics to reverse the gender. I had a minor crush on Mick Jagger (even dated a guy who looked like him...don't ask) when I was 16 and later on the late Brian Jones after that. I saw them in 1978 at Folsom Field in Boulder, CO, but I was not that big on Some Girls which was that tour. Even by then, IMHO, they were starting to show signs of hasbeen-ness. Now, they just give me a fright when I catch an image of them on tv, but they're good for a laugh. It's a shame, really. They should've stopped while they were ahead. They truly are the poster boys for aging rock star syndrome.

No! :(

Mick Jagger's voice (and mouth) are too much for me, although I quite like Paint It Black, jumpin Jack Flash to name a couple...

Keef Richards on the other hand, Don't know too much about him but from what I've seen he seems to have lived the rock and roll life!! :D

Cool!! :D :-({|=

Great band, although I sometimes think that I'm the only person who prefers STICKY FINGERS to EXILE ON MAIN STREET.

The Stones are in my top 10 but they are charging way to much for ticket now.Now if they was in thier prime I might pay it but not now. They have a set list of over 150 songs that they preform on this tour, that's a bloody lot.
