Rattle that Lock was disappointing.

"5 A.M." and "In any Tongue" were standout tracks for me. I particularly enjoyed the lead guitar and orchestration on 5 A.M. Looks like they did a deluxe edition of "Rattle that Lock", selling for $36 on Amazon, which features a surround sound mix.

David Gilmour has announced his new album ‘Luck and Strange’, to be released on 6th September on Sony Music.



It even has Richard Wright in it.
"The title track also features the late Pink Floyd keyboard player Richard Wright, recorded in 2007 at a jam in a barn at David’s house."

I'm up for listening to the album. The Rick Wright jam will no doubt get cashing in claims on here eventually.
I enjoyed Rattle That Lock. So if Luck and Strange as good or improves on. Then hello September!
EDIT: I've now read the text after seeing the cover. Yes, it sounds like it'll be the final end of his recording career as a solo artist.

It will be interesting to find out what "luck and strange" could mean in the context of the song lyrics. Odd album title.

I like that Rick Wright is playing on there from the Barn Jam recordings for The Division Bell sessions.
