PINK FLOYD BATH AND KNEBWORTH COMMEMORATIVE SET

Pink Floyd Boxset

You may remember it was mentioned on NPF that, after quickly selling out of the initial limited edition of the Bath and Knebworth Pink Floyd commemorative sets, the promoters of the original events produced in July a new Bath and Knebworth Pink Floyd commemorative set, which is now also almost sold out.

There are just 15 left and as well as the Spirit of Knebworth DVD and the Remember Knebworth 78 DVD, which featured Genesis as the headliners they are also giving a very rare DVD of 100 pictures of Led Zeppelin at the Knebworth 79 festival, plus an interview with Robert Plant the day after the event.

You can now get yourself a set on www.rockmusicmemorabilia.com priced at £49.99 plus postage (sold as separate items it comes to £95). None of the items in this set are available anywhere else in the world and it contains the following:

  • Programmes, tickets and flyers from the 1970 Bath festival and the 1975 Knebworth festival;
  • Four flyers dating back to 1967 and 1968 containing, amongst others, the forthcoming appearances of The Pink Floyd at The Pavilion, Bath (1968) and the Malvern Winter Gardens (1967);
  • 2 x T shirts from both the Bath and Knebworth festivals;
  • Three posters, one of which was produced by Storm Thorgerson, for 1975 The Knebworth festival, plus a black and white poster from Knebworth and a unique poster printed on brown paper from the 1970 Bath festival (an original has just sold at Bonham’s auctions for £1,800);
  • A 300 page book entitled There Must Be A Better Way by the promoter Freddy Bannister, with inside stories re the early days of promoting in the UK and the festivals he promoted from 1969-1979
  • 12 photographs from the festivals
  • 3 DVDs
