Steve O’Rourke dies – 1940-2003

Pink Floyd’s manager Steve O’Rourke died of a stroke today. Steve managed the Pink Floyd and solo works of Nick Mason, Rick Wright and David Gilmour. He started managing the band back in 1968 when The Pink Floyd stopped using the services of Peter Jenner and Andrew King. As well as managing Pink Floyd Steve also had a strong interest in motor car racing. He had to stop racing for his team due to heart problems but a stroke today took his life.
