Pompeii Directors Cut DVD

It has been confirmed by Mark Fenwick (Roger Waters’ manager) that a DVD version of Live At Pompeii will be released in March 2003.

The Pompeii video is a documentary showing the filming of a gig in a beautiful ancient amphitheater among the ruins of old Pompeii. Pink Floyd treat the viewer to a stunning audio-visual experience according to the back cover of my Pompeii video and I must say I agree!

The session was recorded in the beautiful sun-splashed arena by day, and amidst the eerily-lit scene of volcanic destruction by night, and is a perfect transition from audio to video media!
