Nick Mason, the founding member and drummer of Pink Floyd, is on tour in 2023 with his show “Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets”. This tour is noteworthy as it features selections from Pink Floyd’s early catalogue, focusing on their music before the “Dark Side of the Moon” album. Mason is joined by musicians including Gary Kemp from Spandau Ballet, Guy Pratt, a former touring bassist for Pink Floyd, guitarist Lee Harris, and keyboardist Dom Beken.
For 2023, Mason’s tour includes dates in Australia, with the itinerary recently expanded to include additional shows in Sydney and Melbourne. The Australian leg of the tour is set to kick off with two shows at Melbourne’s Forum in mid-September, followed by performances in Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth. The specific dates for these shows are:
- September 16 and 17 at Forum, Melbourne
- September 19 at Brisbane Convention Exhibition Centre, Brisbane
- September 21 and 22 at Enmore Theatre, Sydney
- September 25 at Riverside, Perth
However, it’s important to note that two of his upcoming concerts, one in St Louis at Stifel Theatre and another in Vancouver at Orpheum Theatre, have been cancelled. These were initially part of his tour across the United States and Canada
