On the recording of the album, which could be released in 2015, Phil said that “it’s going very well. I think it sounds fantastic, people will be very happy.”

Phil Manzanera has worked with David Gilmour often over the years and has played guitar on David’s solo tours. Phil helped produce David Gilmour’s last studio album from 2006 On An Island and also toured the world with David and the rest of the amazing band. Phil also co-wrote One Slip from Pink Floyd’s A Momentary Lapse of Reason album which you can enjoy in the video below.

Guy Pratt Comedy Show – On Tour Now

Guy PrattPink Floyd session bass player Guy Pratt is sharing his comedy with the world in July and August of this year in his show “Wake Up Call“. He has been rather successful with his comedy shows and is not just a bassplayer, you know!

He is playing the Latitude Festival this Friday for three days, Port Elliot Festival then off up to Scotland for 11 days so, if you get tickets for that show, you had best take a sleeping bag! lol I really should not try being funny because it just doesn’t work!

If you are in the area, make sure you get down there and experience the much praised Guy Pratt comedy event!

Take a look at his tour dates on his Facebook page.

Guy has played bass for Pink Floyd since the mid 80s after Roger Waters departure from the band. He recently joined the Australian Pink Floyd on stage guesting on bass! Read about that on Brain Damage.
