Jon Carin Biography

Jonathan Carin, better known as Jon Carin, is an American musician, producer, and composer. He was born on October 21, 1964 in New York City, New York. Carin is best known for his work as a keyboardist and guitarist for the rock band Pink Floyd. Carin started playing music at a young age and was influenced by a range of artists, including The Beatles, The Who, and Led Zeppelin. He studied music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in the music industry. In 1986, Carin joined Pink Floyd as a touring member, playing keyboard and guitar on the “A Momentary Lapse of Reason” tour.
