Columbia Records is releasing “Flickering Flame – The Solo Years, Volume 1,” the first-ever overview of the solo musical career of rock legend and Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters. Personally supervised by Waters, “Flickering Flame – The Solo Years, Volume 1” has been assembled from the original master recordings by Pink Floyd/Roger Waters producer James Guthrie. The selections for “Flickering Flame – The Solo Years, Volume 1” are culled from all of Water’s solo albums — “The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking” (1984), “Radio K.A.O.S. (1987), “Amused To Death” (1992), and “In The Flesh – Live” (2000) — “Flickering Flame – The Solo Years, Volume 1” brings together for the first time: two hard-to-find Waters’ rarities (“Towers of Faith” from the 1987 “When the Wind Blows” soundtrack and the never-before released demo for “Lost Boys Calling” from the 1999 film “The Legend of 1900” ) together with a cover version...

Roger Waters (one of the founding members of Pink Floyd) is to release a new “Best Of” album called “Flickering Flame – The Solo Years, Volume 1”. The album has on it some of his best solo work since leaving Pink Floyd in the 1980’s. Roger Waters was the creative force behind one of the most influential band’s of this century, Pink Floyd. Flickering Flame – The Solo Years, Volume I is a definitive retrospective covering Rogers solo career to date encompassing songs from his three solo albums and his live two CD and a unique cover of Knockin’ On Heavens Door. The album also contains the song “Lost Boys Calling” which was only ever released in Italy. It was recorded for the soundtrack to the film “The Legend Of 1900” released in 1999. It is due to be released in Asia and Australia on 1st April and in Europe...
