I have it on good faith that Roger Waters is going to be playing a gig on 16th October 2002 in support of the Countryside Alliance. The gig will apparently be at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Amongst other things, the Countryside Alliance support fox hunting and is an organisation that fights against the encroachment of the towns people and the UK Government on to rural life. The event is called “Whip Craic” and you can view more information about it at the Royal Albert Hall website here. Please note, this is only a strong rumour and you should not go buying tickets expecting to see Roger Waters there from what you read here! Surely fox hunting is a necessary method of pest control and people should be able to do it if they want? If you have an opinion on this subject, discuss it on the forum here.

Pink Floyd are pretty much dead and Sony have a great catalogue of stuff that it can generate some pretty fantastic revenue streams from! DVDs are now the current favourite for Pink Floyd and Roger Waters also. The following are what is due to be released: August 19th – Roger Waters: The Wall Live In Berlin September 2nd – David Gilmour: Live at The Royal Festival Hall October – Pink Floyd: Pulse I, myself, am really looking forward to the David Gilmour release. I had tickets to watch him but couldn’t make it to the show due to exams!! Not good. I have no more information about the DVDs so you don’t need to ask me!
