THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW Arena Tour 2005
The Best of Pink Floyd – LIVE!
‘A must see for all Floyd fans’ – CHICAGO TRIBUNE
THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW juggernaut returns to the UK and Ireland in the spring of 2005 for its first tour of arenas.
Having now established itself around the world, The Australian Pink Floyd Show has become one of the definitive concerts for live music audiences, with Floyd fans of all ages embracing this spectacular two and a half hour show.
Performing a brand-new, spellbinding set, this will be the first time UK and Irish audiences experience the bigger sound & lights production used on the two mammoth North American Arena tours of 2004, including new lasers and inflatables.
The show’s ultimate endorsement is that David Gilmour, Pink Floyd’s guitarist, is a fan himself. And now with former Pink Floyd sound engineer Colin Norfield at the mixing desk, and a number of other original Pink Floyd crew members working behind the scenes, TAPFS provides the perfect embodiment of the Pink Floyd live experience.
Every facet in Floyd’s long and diverse career is represented, from the Barrett era and experimental early 70s through to ‘Dark Side of The Moon’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘Animals’, ‘The Wall’, ‘A Momentary Lapse of Reason’, ‘The Final Cut’ and ‘The Division Bell’.
Responses to the 2004 North American tours have been phenomenal as audiences express their sheer disbelief and joy at experiencing again this magnificent music performed live on such a scale.
WEBSITE QUOTES FROM DARK SIDE OF THE MOON TOUR, NORTH AMERICA – 2004
“What a phenomenal display, the musicianship is absolutely second to none, I really couldn’t tell the difference between them and the original band!”
“The two best shows that I have ever seen are the Australian Pink Floyd Show Dark Side of the Moon concert in Connecticut last week and the real Pink Floyd The Wall concert in New York in 1980.”
“They kicked Aussie ass!!! I’m a Pink Floyd fan going way back (saw them first time when Dark Side came out) and it would be hard to convince me there is a band that can do Pink Floyd as well as Pink Floyd, but I must say …these guys are it!
“It was like watching a time machine, I was there for all the Pink Floyd shows in Montreal – absolutely amazing.”
“It was one of the best things I’ve ever seen. The lights, the sounds, the videos, everything was top-notch. I loved it.”
“As far as I’m concerned, I put Pink Floyd and the Australian boys on the same level. Every note, every sound exactly the same.”
“I couldn’t stop smiling during the whole show. Best thing these eyes have seen. WHAT A SHOW!!!!!!!!!!”
