It has been confirmed by Mark Fenwick (Roger Waters’ manager) that a DVD version of Live At Pompeii will be released in March 2003. The Pompeii video is a documentary showing the filming of a gig in a beautiful ancient amphitheater among the ruins of old Pompeii. Pink Floyd treat the viewer to a stunning audio-visual experience according to the back cover of my Pompeii video and I must say I agree! The session was recorded in the beautiful sun-splashed arena by day, and amidst the eerily-lit scene of volcanic destruction by night, and is a perfect transition from audio to video media! It has been confirmed by Mark Fenwick (Roger Waters’ manager) that a Roger Waters will be playing two nights at the Royal Festival Hall in London with Jeff Beck. Jeff Beck will be playing three nights at RFH with Roger Playing on the 12th and 13th September 2002. You can see a little more info here and see if any tickets are left. You may also be interested to know that the album Flickering Flame Vol. 1 will be deleted in December and will not be available to buy after that.
