I am sure Mr Gilmour is delighted with getting his honorary degree from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England. He is to be honoured for his contribution to the arts in the ceremony that takes place at the Cambridge Corn Exchange where, of course, the legendary Syd Barrett was to perform most of his solo concerts.

Excellent news that David Gilmour is working with The Orb on a new album. I cant imagine there will be much news on it during the coming months so it is probably best that you subscribe to the Neptune Pink Floyd newsletter if you have not already! The Orb remixed on of the songs on Richard Wright’s Brooken China album called Runaway. They did two version which were released as singles.
