Roger Waters will be on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on American TV tonight at 11:35pm EST/10:35pm CST. Says on the graphic below, shared on Roger’s official Facebook page, that there will be a performance so I wonder if it could be something new? I wonder if he will mention anything about his memoirs that he has been working on? I don’t think we have this channel in the UK but, with the right VPN connection, you might be able to stream it live from the CBS website. Do discuss on the forum if you have any thoughts on how to access it. Roger Waters New Song and Album 2022

Listen to Roger Waters’ New Song from Forthcoming Album

Roger Waters has given a preview of his new song ‘The Bar’ in a benefit event for Julian Assange. Julian Assange was working for the NSA spy agency in Hawaii and copied a lot of confidential information and shared it publicly. He went into excile for a long time on the run from the Americans, and Roger is supporting him. This is not a political blog so we won’t be getting into the detail of all that, but we will be sharing the video below for you to have a listen instead. The new song is musically very similar to the final cut, particularly Southampton Dock. Do let us know your thoughts about the new Roger Waters song, and are you excited about a new Roger Waters album perhaps next year? The song begins around 1:01:30 in the first video beow. Roger claims he has never played piano and sang...

Pink Floyd Animals 5.1 Remix 2018

Animals 5.1 & Stereo Remixes to be Released Soon, Plus Roger’s Broadside on David Gilmour

The much delayed 5.1 remix of Pink Floyd’s Animals album is due to be released soon much to our relief. The project has been sat on a shelf according to Roger Waters in his latest video update on the project. Apparently the liner notes written by Mark Blake, and edited by Roger, did not get the approval from David Gilmour that Roger was looking for. Hence the project, due in 2018, is now ready for release without the liner notes included as a compromise. For those interested to see what the liner notes said, Roger has shared them, along with some information about the memoirs he is working on. Roger attacked David and Polly last year about the “Von Trapped” business and him not being allowed to access the 30 million followers on Facebook that the official Pink Floyd account has. Roger has done a little more attacking in his...

Roger Waters Autobiography and Audio book in the Works

Roger Waters has been working on his autobiography for many years, and an awful lot of other projects too that have not yet come to fruition, but he said the other day that he is in the middle of his autobiography and that there will be an audiobook complete with “the voices”. You know Roger likes to do his voices as can be heard on The Wall for example. The interview was a political one with PARC Media (Politics, Art, Roots, Culture). That means a lot of fans might be put off as they are only interested in the musical side of the band. If you want to watch the interview, do so here (1h 10min for audiobook info). I wonder what kind of stories he would choose to include in this memoirs? He, and The Pink Floyd, achieved so much over the decades 6 decades with lots of ups,...
