Pink Floyd’s first album is considered the best example of British psychedelic music. It features an album cover shot by photographer Vic Singh and most of the songs were written by Syd Barrett. Syd was of course a founding member of Pink Floyd. Sadly he went on to develop significant mental illness and left the band. His replacement was David Gilmour, a childhood friend.
