Australian Pink Floyd Tour 2013 The tribute band The Australian Pink Floyd has today announced the dates of their 2013 tour of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. The tour is called “Eclipsed By The Moon” and tickets go on sale on Friday 25th May 2012. The full schedule can be seen below and you can get tickets from Ticketmaster. There will be 19 UK dates on the tour which includes the rather special night at London’s O2 arena where Roger Waters recently performed with David Gilmour and Nick Mason. It is due to launch on 25th May 2012 and is available in the USA and Puerto Rico. Roger Waters announced the news in an interview with Jim Ladd, the DJ who featured in Roger’s 1987 solo album Radio KAOS. The interview was broadcast last night in the USA. Not only will the Pink Floyd radio station broadcast the entire back catalogue of the band including solo albums, but it will also feature interviews, rarities and broadcast concert recordings too! It is a professionally shot video and shows the rehearsals for the performance and backstage during the performance. BBC 4 TV are to air the full 60 minute version of the forthcoming blu-ray/DVD release of Pink Floyd: The Story of Wish You Were Here. The documentary about the legendary album was first broadcast in the USA in March 2012 on VH1. Eagle Rock Home Entertainment are to release Pink Floyd: The Story Of Wish You Were Here on Blu-ray and DVD for Floyd fans to enjoy in the UK on 25th June 2012 and in the USA on 26th June 2012. The 45 year old Conservative PM told his 166,000 Twitter followers that the Pink Floyd classic album was his favourite as part of a celebration of Great British Music.
