Roger Waters Us Plus Them Chart Position

Roger Waters Us+Them Chart Position Was…

Roger Waters’ Us + Them UK Chart position has come in at quite a surprising position this week as it entered the UK charts. The recording was made available in visual formats including bluray, DVD and 4k streaming. The audio was also made available as MP3, music streaming, vinyl and CD. Grab a copy. The UK album charts has Us+Them in a number 9 in its debut week. You may recall that the drummer’s album came in at number five a couple of weeks ago. It is anyone’s guess as to what Roger will think about that! Personally, I bought the bluray as I wanted to watch the concert as it was a visually stunning as it was musically. Really fantastic show, I was lucky enough to see it in Liverpool. I didn’t buy the CD or vinyl. Perhaps many others did this so, as far as I know, that...

Barrett Book Paperback 2020

Syd Barrett Book Available as Paperback

If you wind your mind back all the way to March 2011 you will recall that an exceptional book called Barrett was released. It featured an incredible range of rare photographs that told the life story of Syd Barrett and his early Pink Floyd. You might also recall it was rather expensive – £300 for the signature edition! It was a premium hardback book, printed on luxurious paper and was constructed like a work of art in itself. The signature edition was truly exceptional and worth every penny. The great news is that a more accessible paperback edition will be available so more fans can enjoy what is an amazing book! The paperback costs £40, has 272 pages and 250 photos. It also has 60,000 words. The officially authorised book is split into sections covering Pink Floyd, Solo career, Letters and Art. It was created in conjunction with the Barrett...

Nick Mason Saucerful UK Charts Position

Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets UK Chart Position Was…

I am going to be honest here, I am reading through the UK Albums and Singles charts and I have never heard of most of it. Is that a good thing for a fan of the old music? I had a listen to a few of the albums in the top 10, all sounds the same with a lot of autotune. I guess something similar could be said of the charts since they were invented! Why does it all have to be so terribly loud…. Anyway, there was one band I did at least recognise and that is Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets band! Proper music! They entered the charts at number 5 a week ago, and now they have dropped down to 84. I guess a lot of people pre-ordered and already have this amazing recording, or is on the way to them. Peak of 5 is fantastic. The...

Roger Waters Us + Them Sky Arts

Roger Waters Us+Them on Sky Arts Freeview

A week before its official release on glorious bluray, Roger Waters epic Us+Them concert film is to be broadcast on Sky Arts in the UK. It is not the full version of course, it is an edited down director’s cut (I’m not funny enough to think of a joke linking that to the final cut album you try) but it is broadcast at 9PM GMT in the UK for free. As a UK person I actually had no idea that Sky Arts had come to Freeview – it is usually a subscription channel as far as I know. They often feature lots of Pink Floyd content and have broadcast plenty over the years. In addition to the main prize at 9PM, they are also broadcasting lots of other goodies from 6:30pm so have you dinner, get a brew and tuck in! How do I get Sky Arts for Free? Sky...
