Some encouraging news regarding David Gilmour’s new album became apparent after David’s wife, Polly Samson, posted a photo on social media website instagram. Watch A New Pink Floyd Interview on Amazon About New Album

A new 9 minute video has been published on Amazon’s website featuring an interview with David Gilmour and Nick Mason. You can watch it, using a desktop computer, at this link. They are discussing the new Pink Floyd Album, The Endless River, which is released in the UK 10th November 2014. It has been released in many countries already including Italy, Germany and other territories. Your humble narrator received a copy today and is about to listen to it for the first time! In the interview, Nick and David talk through the album recording process in terms of how the music came about and how samples were recording during jamming sessions. Great news for Pink Floyd fans today is that you can now listen to another Pink Floyd song from their new album The Endless River from official Pink Floyd sources, not nasty bit torrent download sites. The song Allons-y (1), a very aptly named song which should manage fans expectations as to the type of album we are dealing with here, is available on music streaming service Spotify. You can now watch the full Pink Floyd new album press kit on the Amazon website which runs for a full 10 minutes. Previously there have been two shorter electronic press kit videos (EPKs) made available but this is the full one for you to enjoy. The video tells the story of how the new Pink Floyd album The Endless River came about and offers some anecdotes about its recording process, including being cramped in a very small studio space with lots of recording equipment and recalling being banned from the Royal Albert Hall where they recorded Richard Wright playing the organ there which features on the new album. David Gilmour’s New Album “Coming Along Very Well…” in 2015

David Gilmour has told Rolling Stone magazine that his new album is “coming along very well” and that he believes it will be released in 2015. Read about David Gilmour New Album 2024. In addition to a new David Gilmour album, there will also be a tour, but it won’t be a massive 200 date tour, more like an “old man’s tour”. David was 68 in March 2014 and touring does take its toll! David said, “There haven’t been many discussions about the tour. But places like Radio City Music Hall sound like the right sort of vibe for me.
