Roger Waters: Amused To Death, Analogue Productions Edition

The much celebrated Roger Waters solo album, Amused To Death, is to be released in a new 45RPM 4LP 200g set with remastered audio from James Guthrie. It costs £190 so will probably not feature in most people’s collections. This is according to Rough Trade records in the UK. The American distributor Acoustic Sounds has it as a 180g pressing. Rough Trade appears to have to finished artwork on their site, so presumably their information is the most up to date. Discuss on the forum. In addition to this release, people are of course waiting for the Animals 5.1 mix to be released with the edited liner notes which were causing a delay. Roger Waters will be on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on American TV tonight at 11:35pm EST/10:35pm CST. Says on the graphic below, shared on Roger’s official Facebook page, that there will be a performance so I wonder if it could be something new? I wonder if he will mention anything about his memoirs that he has been working on? As highlighted on Roger Waters’ official YouTube page, a selection of songs from the live broadcast of Radio Waves, recorded at Colisée De Québec, Canada, on 7th November 1987, has made its way officially onto Spotify. it is calle Roger Waters: KAOS FM 1987: Live Radio Broadcast. There are 8 songs in total giving 49 minutes of the live performance which has been a favourite amongst bootleggers over the years. Pink Floyd recently released a load of old bootlegs on Spotify, presumably due to copyright reasons. It seems the fashionable thing to do these days as loads of other artists are getting in on the act too. “Forgotten” Pink Floyd 1967 Live Photos to be Released

Unseen Pink Floyd Syd Barrett Photos 20+ professional photos of Pink Floyd’s performance at Gyllene Cirkeln in Sweden 1967, by photographer Kenneth Ekberg, have been discovered and will be shared for the first time on 26th February 2022. Details of the exhibition, which includes a performance Men On The Border and guests, will be shared in due course. Please come and discuss on the forum. One of the guests is Janne Schaffer, of ABBA fame, who will bring the amplifier that he used that very might in 1967 as a support act to Pink Floyd and lent to Syd Barrett for the evening. Roger Waters has given a preview of his new song ‘The Bar’ in a benefit event for Julian Assange. Julian Assange was working for the NSA spy agency in Hawaii and copied a lot of confidential information and shared it publicly. He went into excile for a long time on the run from the Americans, and Roger is supporting him.
